Ultra Thin Videoscope Probes for Inspector Series

Digital Ultra Thin Inspection Solution for Precision Industrial Applications

Ultra Thin Diameter from 0.95 mm Digital CMOS Imaging Interchangeable Probe System Portable Videoscope Platform Real-Time Image Recording LED Illumination System Flexible Probe Configuration Designed for Complex Internal Inspection
  • Why Choose Inspector Ultra Thin Videoscope Probes?
  • Unlike traditional ultra thin fiberscopes that rely on optical fiber bundles for image transmission, the Inspector Series ultra thin probes use integrated digital CMOS imaging technology directly at the probe tip.
  • This provides:
  • Higher image stability
  • No fiber pixel breakage issues
  • Digital image and video recording
  • Better usability for modern industrial inspection workflows
  • Easier documentation and reporting
  • Compatibility with touchscreen inspection systems
  • The Inspector Series combines ultra thin accessibility with modern digital inspection capabilities, making it ideal for users who require compact probe diameters without sacrificing inspection efficiency.

Product Description

The Inspector Series Ultra Thin Videoscope Probes are designed for industrial inspection tasks where extremely limited access diameters prevent the use of standard videoscope probes.

Starting from Ø0.95 mm, these ultra thin digital probes allow visual inspection inside miniature holes, fuel nozzles, precision machined parts, aerospace components, heat exchanger tubes, medical tooling, and complex mechanical assemblies.

Unlike traditional ultra thin fiberscopes that rely on optical fiber bundles to transmit the image, the Inspector ultra thin probes use a miniature digital image sensor located directly at the probe tip. The live image is displayed in real time on the portable Inspector monitor system, supporting photo capture, video recording, zoom, annotation, and digital file management.

The modular Inspector platform allows users to exchange probes according to different inspection requirements, helping reduce long-term operating costs while improving inspection flexibility.

Designed and assembled in Germany, the system focuses on practical industrial usability, reliable image quality, and simplified inspection workflows.

FAQ

What is the difference between an ultra thin videoscope and an ultra thin fiberscope?

An ultra thin videoscope uses a miniature digital camera sensor located at the probe tip, while a traditional fiberscope transmits the image through optical fiber bundles. The videoscope solution provides digital image display, photo capture, video recording, and easier documentation.

Why choose a digital ultra thin videoscope instead of a fiberscope?

A digital videoscope is easier to use in modern inspection workflows. It avoids common fiberscope limitations such as broken image fibers, eyepiece-based observation, and the need for external camera adapters for documentation.

What is the smallest probe diameter available?

The Inspector Series ultra thin probe range starts from Ø0.95 mm, making it suitable for very small access points and miniature inspection areas.

Can the ultra thin probes record photos and videos?

Yes. When used with the Inspector Plus or Inspector Touch platform, the system supports real-time image viewing, photo capture, and video recording.

Are the ultra thin probes interchangeable?

Yes. The Inspector Series is based on a modular interchangeable probe platform, allowing users to select different probe diameters and configurations according to inspection requirements.

Which industries typically use ultra thin videoscope probes?

Typical applications include aerospace, automotive, precision machining, turbine inspection, medical tooling, electronics manufacturing, heat exchanger inspection, and laboratory inspection.
